- Still researching... I moved to the Florida Keys after my house burnt down and my marriage went to hell. The economy was obviously going to take a serious vacation and I knew I needed to live more simply and that there had to be a better way to live. I love fishing and basically lived on my boat all summer in Michigan-So we made a plan and tried to stick to it. I love at a marina on Grassy Key in Marathon-the heart of the Florida Keys. I'd like to get to Key West-but I do like a bit of seclusion as well. Sunsets and fishing. Snorkeling and sipping are my daily activities while I edit whatever book I have just finished. Sigh...
